Altar Flowers

Altar Flowers are given by parishioners and friends as an expression of gratitude to God for special events in their lives such as births, marriages or anniversaries, in general thanksgiving or in memory of persons who have died. After Sunday worship, the flowers are taken to  parish shut-ins and hospital patients. You may sign up to donate Sunday altar flowers on one of the calendars posted in the narthex and on the bulletin board outside Merrow Hall Auditorium or by filling out this form.  At Christmas and Easter, special forms are provided in Grace Notes and in the Sunday bulletin for making the altar and nave festive with flowers, plants and greens.  Lisa Doelp, 703-239-1302, is the Altar Guild Flower Chair.
